Jharkhand, the partner state at Goa International Film Festival 2018.

Jharkhand announced to the partner state in Goa International Film Festival 2018 which will held on 20th to 28th of November, 2018.
The decision was taken in meeting between Secretary of Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Mr. Amit Khare and Chief Secretary of Jharkhand, Sudhir Tripathy at Ranchi.
Researchers developed the bioelectronic medicine that helps nerve growth
Researchers at the Washington University in the U.S. have developed the first bioelectronic medicine, an implantable, biodegradable wireless device. This device speeds nerve regeneration and improves the healing of a damaged nerve.
The scientists developed a device that delivers regular pulses of electricity to damaged peripheral nerves in rats after a surgical repair process, accelerating the regrowth of nerves in their legs. About the size of a small coin, the wireless device operates for two weeks before getting absorbed into the body.

EAM Sushma Swaraj launched India for Humanity initiative in New Delhi

Mahatma Gandhi‘s philosophy of compassion, caring and service to humanity, ‘India for Humanity’ features a year-long series of artificial limb fitment camps in a number of countries spanning the globe.
The camps will initially be held in 12 countries identified through the Missions with the financial support of the Indian government.
IMF estimates the growth rate of India as 7.3 percent this year
The International Monetary Fund (IMF) in its latest World Economic Outlook (WEO) said that India have estimated to grow at 7.3% in 2018 and 7.4% in 2019. This is to regain the tag of the world’s fastest-growing major economy 2018, surpassing China with more than 0.7% points. In 2017, India had clocked a 6.7% growth rate.
In India, important reforms like the Goods and Services Tax (GST), the inflation-targeting framework, the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, and steps to liberalize foreign investment and make it easier to do business had implemented in the recent years.
China was the fastest-growing economy in 2017. The IMF has lowered the growth projections for both India and China by 0.4% and 0.32%, respectively, from its annual April’s WEO.
